Before I jump into the benefits and applications that Vetericyn covers, I will give a quick breakdown on what and how I came to use it. Although, I have used this product for years in case of a bunny emergency, my dog Scarlette was recently hit by a speeding vehicle in a hit and run. She had a dislocated hip that required surgery, and a huge gash on her lower left leg. On that particular part of her leg, the skin was too thin to stitch. Following her surgery, the Vet still could not get the wound on her leg to heal, and we were left to letting air hit the wound in order to scab up and heal.
