1. The first time is from day one when your bunny arrives home and transfers into their new environment. We always direct our customers to give the bunnies and hour or so to get used to their new surroundings until they start showing signs of curiosity. The Cage Package extremely accelerates comfort since once weened from their mother they have lived in that exact setting for 9 days with a sibling of theirs. A Curious bunny is a comfortable happy bunny!
2. Another early sign is if your bunny sits and cuddles on your lap. While subtle again this shows they are comfortable and happy with their new family and surroundings. 3. Of course another way they demonstrate they are happy is the unique Binky. A hop out of the ordinary sometimes with a contorting motion and demonstrated at random a majority of the times, unbelievably cute! 4. They allow you to pet their "Sweet Spots" for every bunny this is different but it usually falls under an ear massage, head rub, chin rub or all three! 5. "The Bunny Flop", I call it that because it is just so ADORABLE they will be going about their day, bonding and spending time with you and just flop on their side and sometimes even barrel roll! 6. They constantly look for your attention sometimes purring when giving them love, sometimes a gentle grind of their teeth 7. Zooming back and forth, in circles, or around your feet. This shows them exerting an excess amount of energy to show how happy they are to see you! 8. They lay with their legs stretched out behind them. A very clear unmistaken sign they are comfortable and happy! 9. Nudging at you. This is directly saying they want your attention specifically and as soon as possible! 10. Kisses and grooming. An ultimate sign in bond solidification. This is a true sign of a bonding, they now accept you as theirs just as you accepted them as yours. A very beautiful moment in the relationship building process of you and your bunny's relationship! *Keep an eye out for these signs to know your bunny is living a happy healthy life. These signs may not all be demonstrated in a week or a month, but you will see more and more develop as time goes on, and to have this check list in mind is a fantastic way to put your mind at ease knowing your bunny is happy, healthy, and loved, which at the end of the day is the ultimate goal!
