Bunny Health Recap- Keeping Your Full Grown Holland Lop Bunny In Top Health With The Bunny Body Condition Score!

Keeping your bunny at the correct weight, and physical shape, is essential to your bunny having an elongated life. The two week Veterinarian check up once taking your new bunny home is the first step in the right direction. Compliment this with a semi- annual to annual check up and you have your foundation for a healthy bunny. In between that time, it is up to you to keep your bunny in the best physical condition. This does not have to be mistaken for not being able to spoil your bunny, but spoil your bunny in the right ways. This is done with Love, all natural treats, and all natural chews to start. Then as time goes on, and you hit the 4 and a half to 5 month mark, you add your Kale, Parsley, and in moderation some healthy natural sugar from a slice of banana or apple. The best way to monitor your bunny's health when it comes to weight, is through the Body Condition Score, which I will explain in more detail below. Click Read More Below!

A year ago we also purchased a business who was on the point of insolvency, re-structured it, regulated it and incepted Paradise Pomskis. While the wait list is long for Pomskis, a cross between a Pomeranian and a Husky, we do have one tiny baby of the litter left looking for a home. The Pomsky pictured is the one that is still available!

New Bunnies Up and Ready To Go The Beginning Of August!!!

7/22/2023

Our bunnies at Lovely Bunny's have been going to wonderful owners and families at an accelerated pace as our reputability continues to consistently rise. Unlike other businesses, we do have to make sure we expand safely, and keeping in mind not reducing attention and space to our current bunnies. Adding more bunnies to an area will only hamper our bunny's health and quality of life, which is exactly the opposite of what we want. We are creating a larger space and adding more qualified and trainable employees. The issue is in our sector this is much more of a vigorous process to be done the proper way. So before our bunnies do get reserved make sure you take a quick look at our Available Bunnies Page to make sure that you are not missing out a Holland Lop that would be a perfect addition to your "Forever Home".

It is official! Holland Lop Bunnies are becoming the most popular pet across the United States! The main reason in my opinion is they are just so family and current pet applicable, whether it be a cat or dog. Obviously they are adorable looking. They weigh 2-4 pounds, have gorgeous lopped ears, and their compact yet petite stature melts your heart. Aside from all this, I think their popularity runs much deeper than just appearance. As the saying goes, "It's what's inside that counts", and that is exactly what is propelling them to more and more families and individuals across the globe.

Lovely Bunny's Blog is driven strictly by information and education. Today I want to take a brief change in direction, to discuss how pets, in my case bunnies, can save lives and help you recover from even the most catastrophic health issue. For some, it is bringing their Holland Lop to the Chilton Children's Cancer Ward to spread joy. For myself, it was a misdiagnosed stomach issue that nearly took my life.

Lovely Bunny's- Laying Out an Innovating Regulated Animal Breeding Plan For The Future!!!

7/10/2023

Picture
New York Governor Kathy Hocul, a kind hearted animal loving woman, inducted in 2022 a ban on Pet Stores selling bunnies, dogs and cats to crack down on stores purchasing animals from Puppy Mills and uncreditable sources. This was a fantastic step in the right direction, however people still need loving animals for therapy pets and a number of other instances, such as making a home a little more happier. Looking at the market consolidation, I restructured a business plan, to create something so unique, humane and transparent, that will be like nothing ever before. Click Read More to see the structured outlook I plan to implicate.

Every bunny owner should treat their bunny with the upmost unconditional love and care as possible. We at Lovely Bunny's put our customers in the proper position prior to taking their new baby bunny home through education, and a constant access to us as a resource, whether by phone, text or email. We have noticed that post taking your baby home from certain other breeders, or pet stores, based upon customer feedback looking to adopt a second bunny that post taking their bunny home, communication disconnects almost immediately. So we have remedied this situation for years by fully elaborating on the topic of aftercare through being a consistent resource. The steps below, will certainly shine some light on the best way to decide which breeder to go with.
