Now a days our world is far different then when I was Born in 1990, and my childhood was predominantly prior to the pre internet era. As time has gone on a epidemic of lonely Americans has transpired. Pet Bunnies are doing their part in helping turn those numbers around for all categories effected, Read more below for more information on how and why.
Growing up, If I wanted to hang out with a friend for most of my life up until high school, I would call them from a Lan Line and meet up in person. Times have changed significantly. Nobody had time to post their timelines of their lives on the internet for the world to see. What occurs is, in turn a large number of people reading through who do not have this lifestyle feel a sense of depression, as if they are missing out on life. This creates more reclusiveness as depression sets in. Most communicating is through text now, direct message, or some other form of virtual internet contact, leaving you all by your lonesome. Effectively deemed an epidemic roughly 36% of ALL Americans, including 61% in young adults, and 51% of mothers with young children suffer from this epidemic. So people have sought solutions in Pet Bunnies to fill the void, and it is rather genius. It gives you not just a pet but a companion who is there for you with unconditional love and affection. A companion that forms a bond with their owner that is second to none. Just having them there cuddling with you, occupying some down time playing with them, and knowing there is something that needs you in life, can turn your whole emotional state around. In fact they are a very popular Emotional Support Animal! Their individual personality quirks bring tears to laughs, bring sadness to joy, and when I am feeling down and out, my personal escape is my bunny's. I use my free time enjoying them with my 12 year old poodle, who loves them like they are his pups. If you are feeling suicidal please seek an emergency hotline, but if you are lonely and a little depressed the solution might be better met with a pet Bunny!
